Without A Climate Of Trust, You Have This

According to authors Ken Blanchard and Garry Ridge, when a leader does not create a climate of trust, people:
  • Question decisions
  • Have moral problems
  • Fail to participate fully
  • Avoid taking creative risks, and ultimately leave the organization
And, when employees do these things, the authors explain that the organization is deeply and measurably impacted by:
  • Reduced quality of the product or service
  • Increased cost of turnover, hiring, training
  • Missed opportunities that would have been captured by fully dedicated and creative employees
